The "Busy Complex"

Time management... what comes to mind when you hear those two words in union? Most people would reply with simple keywords that have multiple levels of emotion and understanding... like stress, busy, pressure, organization, actions, decisions, and frustration are just a few examples. To me... I see opportunity. A chance to prove that I still organize my own thoughts through actions in a limited time frame to achieve whatever goal I may be pursuing at the moment.

Opens my Mind to different paths.
Gives a sense of goodwill Feeling and positive thinking.
Let's me know I'm Alive.

Right now, however, I'm holding a loose control with my own time management 'skills'. Did about a five-six hour study for a test on Thursday. Going to evaluate how much homework I can manage to do on Thursday after school, and get all that done and out of the way, gotta go to work on Friday, going to work on the yard by day, and babysit at night on Saturday. As for Sunday, I don't know what's going on. Maybe I should hang out with someone new...

...like with a new girl I met on Tuesday, Veronica!! Her beast of a truck ran out of battery power and my tiny infant-sized Kia Rio gave her some juice for the ride home, at the SCF campus. I met her while she looked very angry, peering into her truck's engine. I went up to her and said "Looks like you're having some trouble... Hi, I'm Josh, what seems to be the dealio?". She laughed and replied with "I'm Veronica. My truck decided to be stubborn and didn't wanna move. I think she skipped a meal. Damn mule won't turn over." She seems cool and collected, with a quirky sarcastic side, spiced with humor... just enough spice to make her interesting. She actually asked for my phone number before she hopped in her truck, which I was a bit shocked at first, and then replied with "Wow... I guess you have a pair of nuts shoved in there or something, you beat me to the punch." She quickly replied with "So I'm thinking we should chill sometime later, maybe on the weekend", then smiled. I smiled back saying "I like the sound of that". I asked for her phone number, though, cause I don't have a cell phone right now... so I just gave her the house number. Should suffice. I'm thinking she might take up a good portion of my Sunday... only a call away, I suppose.

During the stresses of our lives, think back to the simple things that make us grateful... mine is getting out of bed without pain, and having a full set of batteries to start a fresh new day! (...as corny as that sounds, it puts a smile on my face everyday I wake up.)

[UPDATE: Called her a few times, and got to know her abit more... she's into the white power party. Out of all things to not like, right? lmao]
