What is reality... true reality? Probably what we interact with on a daily basis with our senses and most exposed to, and gaining knowledge on how other creatures/elements communicate/interract with us. I would imagine that would be a close definition of reality. Now what if... a person was being manipulated into seeing a different reality then our own? For example, metaphorically... take a baby freshly born, feed + cared for it with a monkey costume (never speaking any language, just grunts and groans when appropriate), the room's light is always on with the a color (red, orange, green, purple; be creative) raised that child in the monkey costume, and let him/her be visited by other monkey costumed people... once you let that young adult out of the room and into the light, s/he would want to run back into the house where it's safe and comfortable. You would need to litterally DRAG AND BIND that person against his/her will to show them our sense of reality. Being exposed to a different world than one person's used to doesn't make that person wrong or right.... that is just a perception like reality bent for the eyes to judge quickly and with godspeed. The earth is mother to us all, but that is how reality perceived by the entire human race... are we, the human race, stuck in that room and stay ignorant?
To me, there is true reality that is a very dangerous one to the human... reality being a state of mind. sometimes, another's reality is different from your own. That person reality might be seeing everyone looking down at him all the time, even when they're not, leading into terminal depression; someone reality might change to giving in the primal rage from inside oneself and unleashing it, like "going postal"; someone might try one thing out, had a bad experience, and reality is seen by a diffrent light on the subject, reguardless of success/failure on everyone else's part...
No two eyes are the same.
In my past MONTH I went through an interesting scenario that forced me into a different state of mind... but my life has most things any good movie should have: introduction of characters, innocent plotline, character developement, plot is thickened, conflict arises, hero is made, action, romance, resolution of problem, happiness, something else bad emerges or revives itself leading into more movies so the ending is left in a perpetual limbo (sort of speak) that sometimes never has a true ending. Kiiiiiiiiiinda like that, but it's not a bad thing... just a good movie still being watched, of sorts.
Ahhhhhhhh, life is great. Attacks of malice, love, and ignorance scattered within my life. Mixed along with that some blessings of innocent joy, a HUGE helping of social interaction and a dash of education, and I'm a super-happy person. An awkward yet interesting reality... and wouldn't change a thing!
